Asking his Mum for sewing lessons at the age of 4, Mum Lindy soon saw the natural talent her son possesses.
Connor O’Grady, currently in year 10 at Brisbane Grammar School is building himself an extraordinary profile at the tender age of only 15.

Still currently attening sewing lessons every Saturday Connor has had many teachers over the years teaching him different skills.  At present Connor is focusing on advanced pattern marking and enjoying designing and sewing his own creations.

Connor's win in the 2016 Autralian Wool Fashion Awards was not his first accolad, having designed a dress worn by the wife of The CEO of The Brisbane Lions at The Brownlow Medal AFL Awards and wining the APEX Australia Teenage Fashion designer of the year for formal wear.

Connor recently won the title of The Queensland Young Achiever of the Year for Arts & Fashion. Currently working part time, with his earnings he purchases fabric, mainly 100% woolen merino jersey from The Brisbane Fabric Store, to create turbans for The Wesley Hospital Choices Cancer Support Centre, which he donates to Choices, who sell them for $25 with proceeds going towards cancer patients.
